Taco Tuesday in Buffalo: 2018 Edition

If you keep up to date with blogs posted from Red Door, then you’ll know that last August we posted a blog about places to spend taco Tuesday in Buffalo. But since then, we’ve had a lot of delicious taco places come to Buffalo, and they’re just too good to leave out. Here’s a list of some newer taco places, as well as a few honorable mentions that can’t be left out if we’re going to talk tacos. Oh, and you’re welcome.

Taqueria Ranchos Las Delicias

First up is an authentic Mexican restaurant located on Niagara St. in Buffalo. You can grab their specialty, tacos, on Tuesday for only $1.99 each. But the party doesn’t stop there, you can enjoy Margarita Mondays with $1.99 house margaritas, or stop by on Saturday to enjoy tacos and salsa with entertainment by D.J. Jowel. But if you’re feeling like staying in for tacos, you can have it delivered on UberEats. There’s no excuse to not to have tacos.

Casa Azul

Casa Azul prides itself on their tradition and values that are brought to life through innovation. Its exciting menu features dishes that touch on the past, present, and future to bring customers delicious food they won’t be able to stop thinking about. Feast on tacos such as its al pastor, chicken, shrimp, fish, sweetbread and many more. Oh, did we mention they have $2 taco Tuesdays? Go check them out on Genesee street here in Buffalo.

Aguacates Mexican Bar & Grill

Aguacates is located just down the street from us here at Red Door at 765 Elmwood Ave. Its menu features a wide range of authentic Mexican dishes that don’t disappoint. The restaurant truly cares and values their customers’ thoughts and opinions. They love hearing feedback and doing whatever they can to make your experience great. Dive into some of their tacos including Carne Asada (steak), De Pollo Asado (grilled chicken), A La Diabla (steak, onions, and sausage) and De Chorizo (Mexican sausage).

Deep South Taco

Deep South Taco can be found in three locations, on Ellicott St, Hertel Ave, and on Transit Road in Lancaster. What makes it special is its unique outside patio with yellow doors leading to a fun place to eat and relax. It captures the essence of the south in their signature tacos that truly stand out amongst other tacos in Buffalo. Don’t believe me? Go and try one of their signature tacos like their Texas Taco, the Scorpion Taco if you prefer your tacos to be the hottest in the world, The Walking Taco, or the Tostada de Hongos.

Lloyd Taco Factory

Last, but most certainly not least is Lloyd’s Taco Truck. Did you really think we could possibly leave out Lloyds from our list of places to grab a taco? Lloyd’s made their start in 2010 with their food truck, and have since expanded to two restaurants which can be found in Buffalo as well as Williamsville. It is one of Buffalo’s most well known and praised taco location. Their food is all hormone free and their flavors are out of this world. They have taken the concept of a taco and have truly made it their own. Whether you live in Buffalo or are just visiting if you haven’t tried Lloyd’s you’re seriously missing out.

Try spicing up your Tuesday night by immersing yourself into Mexican culture and delicious tacos. Did we leave out your favorite taco place? Let us know!
